This tutorial shows how to install TiviGlass on Firestick and Android/Google TV devices.

TiviGlass is a freemium live TV player built for Android TV/Google TV devices that integrates well with almost any live TV service.

The player supports integrations for M3U URLs, M3U files, Xtream Codes, Stalker portals, and even Stremio add-ons for premium members. It also includes a full EPG, favorites manager, parental controls, unique interface, and more.

We first heard about this live TV player from some Patrons in the TROYPOINT Insider, which is one of the best resources for cord-cutters.

TiviGlass is available for installation on any Android-powered device that includes Fire TV and Android TV/Google TV boxes.

However, this app is not available in the popular app stores (Google Play & Amazon), so we will need to side-load the APK on our device. Below you will find installation tutorials, a feature breakdown, and our honest review.

How to Install TiviGlass on Firestick & Android TV

In this guide, we are installing TiviGlass on our Onn 4K Plus, but these instructions also work on any Fire TV, Android TV, or Google TV device.

1. You must first install the Downloader app on your device. If you haven’t done this, refer to our Downloader Tutorial. Make sure it is the official Downloader app by AFTVNews.

2. Then launch Downloader and click the search bar on top.

3. Enter the code 250931 to access the TROYPOINT Toolbox and click Go.

4. Wait a few seconds until you are redirected to the TROYPOINT Toolbox page.

5. Once in the TP Toolbox, scroll down to locate TiviGlass and click the button to download it.

6. Wait a few seconds for the file to download and then click Install.

7. Click Done.

8. Click Delete to delete the installation file.

9. Click Delete again.

10. Now launch the TiviGlass application from your home screen.

11. Click Accept & Continue

12. Click Not now.

13. You are now on the TiviGlass home screen. Next click Add provider to integrate your live TV service or playlist.

14. Click Add a playlist.

15. Choose your playlist type. In this example we are adding an M3U playlist URL.

16. Enter the name and URL and then click Import & switch.

TROYPOINT Tip: Here you will need to refer to your IPTV service login credentials. Typically they will provide login information for M3Us in your welcome email.

17. Wait a minute or two for your playlist data to import into TiviGlass.

18. That’s it! If you click the TV option on the top menu this is where you’ll find all of your imported channels.

TiviGlass Categories & Details

TiviGlass keeps the home screen simple and its main menu includes Home, Search, TV, Sports, Multi-view, Catch Up, Movies, Shows, Kids, Apps, and Settings.

The TV option is where you can access all of your channels sorted by categories. This TV guide (EPG) works great and is one of the better features of TiviGlass.

You can also add channels to favorites as there is a dedicated ‘Favorites’ category.

Full screen mode works great on this live TV player. You can activate full screen by double clicking a channel.

The Movies and Series tabs are where you can access video-on-demand content if your live TV provider offers it.

If your live TV provider or playlist offers it, the Kids category is a nice addition if you have children in the household.

TiviGlass also offers a ton of settings you can customize for playback, playlists, TV guide, remote controls, appearance, parental controls, and more.

While TiviGlass is a newer live TV player, we were very impressed and it seems promising for the long term. Here is what our testing revealed:

• Native Android TV design with proper D-pad control and living-room-focused menus
• Full EPG with catch-up, program search, and inline live preview
• Xtream Codes, Stalker portals, and M3U all supported without third-party wrappers
• Recovery from unstable streams keeps playback going during network hiccups
• Stremio add-on integration for premium members, a rare crossover feature among IPTV players
• Official Discord group with an active developer

What We Don’t Like

• VirusTotal flagged one malicious file in the APK
• No official application in Google Play or the Amazon Appstore, so side-loading is required
• Sports Hub, Multi-view, recording, and cloud sync are locked behind the Premium paywall
• Lifetime upgrade at £35 ($47) is pricier than TiviMate’s historical $26.99 lifetime deals
• Newer app means long-term update commitment is unproven compared to established players

Is TiviGlass APK Safe to Use?

The best way to determine the safety of 3rd party apps is by scanning them with a virus checker such as VirusTotal.

After scanning, VirusTotal flagged one malicious file within the TiviGlass APK. We should still protect ourselves with a VPN when streaming content from unverified IPTV players like this one.

Proceed with caution and understand the security risks if you decide to use this third-party app.

TiviGlass is one of the more polished newer IPTV players I’ve tested, with a native Android TV interface, strong provider format support, and a genuinely useful free tier.
